If you plan to use this service more than occasionally, then a standalone VoIP application is recommended to be installed.
We tested the service with various applications and, although most of them behave perfect with our service, we decided to suggest you just one of them to be installed.
The tutorial below is a step by step instruction which refer to the X-Lite application and the way it should be configured to work properly with this service.
Click on the tray icon to popup the X-Lite application. The X-Lite icon resembles a green man.
If it's not running yet, launch it as any other normal application.
Click on the down arrow at the top of the phone to activate the configuration menu. Alternately you can
right-click anywhere on the phone body to activate it. Then select SIP Account Settings..
to start the configuration.
A dialog box like the one in the image appears. Click the Add.. button to create a new
SIP account. Then fill the below information in the form shown in the next image.
That's all. The other settings can (and must) remain as default, unless you know what you are doing.
Click OK button to complete the configuration and then click Close button to close
the previous dialog box.
Now you're ready to use the phone. Start dialing your friends' phone numbers and start talking for FREE!
Feel free to experiment the service on any VoIP applications, and, if you don't have a preferred one, you can find pretty much exhaustive list of softphones here.
